Founded in 2015, this independent, privately owned laboratory is managed by Dr. Andrine Smith who has a doctorate in Food Science, a two-year post doctorate and more than 15 years’ experience in the fields of food science research and laboratory practice.
The company consists of a staff of highly qualified persons, who all contribute with their expertise and experience to provide timely, trustworthy and professionally accurate results.
Tests are performed according to internationally accepted standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
We are excited to announce that SpesLab is now ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (SANAS) accredited for Cryptosporidium and Giardia Detection using real-time PCR!
SpesLab has ISO 17025:2017 (SANAS) accreditation for Salmonella serotyping, STEC screening and confirmation, both techniques using real time PCR.
We also have SANAS accreditation as well as DALRRD approval for Full Salmonella Serotyping which can detect more than 2500 serotypes.
